Additions to the Orchid Flora of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Western Ghats, Tamil Nadu, India

A study was conducted in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR), Southern Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, to document wide range wild orchids area and evaluate their conservation status. The ATR, known for its high species diversity, is a protected region spanning core 958.59 km2 buffer 521.28 km2. main objective investigate assess diversity within reserve, providing essential information conservation. present revealed presence 137 orchid belonging 56 genera Reserve. Among them, 37 forms an addition flora reserve. dominant genus ATR Dendrobium followed by Habenaria, Oberonia.
